Original late double marked HJ RZM Knife by RZM M7/18,1941 Richard Herder of Solingen. The blade has not been sharpened and has a few nicks and scratches. The original black leather buffer pad remains intact. The steel, black most likely repainted scabbard is in very good condition without any dents. The knife itself fits into the scabbard nicely. The black leather strap has all rivets and the snap works fine. The leather is in good condition and the rear has the maker’s markings on it stamped into the leather. The hilt is zinc alloy plated with nickel-silver and the plating is bright. The two black grip plates are secured to the hilt by two nickel-silver rivets and there is no damage. It has a very nice HJ diamond which is tight and does not move. A good entry level maker marked piece!
