Original 1933 HJ by RZM M7/80, Gustav Spitzer of Solingen. The blade has been sharpened and has many nicks and scratches. The original black leather buffer pad remains intact. The steel, black painted scabbard has most of its original finish gone. The knife itself is not an exceptionally tight fit into the scabbard. The black leather strap has all rivets and the snap works fine. The leather is in good condition also. The hilt is zinc alloy plated with nickel-silver and the plating is bright. The two black grip plates are secured to the hilt by two nickel-silver rivets and there is damage to the top as can be seen in the photos. It has a very nice HJ diamond which moves ever so gently as collectors like to see. A good entry level maker marked piece!
